Hi, I'm Kelli Pedroia, wife of Red Sox star Dustin Pedroia. As a teenager, I spent a lot of time in the sun and in tanning beds trying to achieve the ultimate tan. When I was 18, I was diagnosed with melanoma, the deadliest form of skin cancer and the 2nd most common cancer in young adults ages 15-29.

I wish I knew then what I know now - that there is no such thing as a safe tan and that UV rays from tanning beds cause cancer. Here's more of my story.
